Multiple Offer Situation: What to know when there are multiple purchasers on a property.

Are you going up against another/several buyers on a property? It’s important for you to know that you only get one chance to present your offer to the owners, they can accept all or none of the offers. Make sure you put forward your best price & best conditions. If there is more than one offer on a property you will receive a multiple offer form that coincides with the contract. Open Home Register: Why is this important to fill out if you are an active buyer

If you are a serious buyer and find that you might be missing out on properties or as soon as they are listed it says ‘under contract’ this maybe why. Registering yourself as a buyer with you local agents is a great way to stay upto date with upcoming properties, prior to them hitting the market. This allows you to know about and possibly expect the property prior to it hitting the market which means less competition.
